BLUEBERRY AND AVOCADO SMOOTHIE BOWL

As we gear up for a new year of school, work and play, it’s timely to think about how we fuel our bodies. Putting the right stuff in means we can embrace life at an optimum level.

 

For a seasonal boost and delicious treat with an additional artistic element involved, try out this recipe.

 

Serves 1

 

Freeze a banana and 2 punnets/packets of blueberries. Blend with half an avocado, ¾ cup of almond milk and 1 tablespoon of honey.

 

Pour into a bowl and garnish with some fancy stuff. I used bee pollen, cacao nibs, chia seeds, edible flowers and dragon fruit.
