Snapped by Christine Ansorge

My name is Joanne and I work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a cancer research scientist. My research is on looking at blood cancers like leukaemia and lymphoma and how bone marrow transplantation cures patients.

I have my favorite food whenever I buy breakfast at the Turkish shop next to the Queen Vic market; I buy a cheese and spinach boreck, delicious!

I’ve just finished reading, with my book group, ‘A kiss from Mr Fitzgerald’ by Natasha Lester. She is an upcoming Australian author from Perth. We just had a skype meeting with her for our book club, we drank cocktails and wore fascinators. It’s technically a romance but it’s more about the history of one of the first female obstetricians in New York, so it’s quite interesting.
