Lisa Saad’s  The Anonymous Man exhibition opened on 23 June 2016 at Volvo Cars Bilia in South Yarra.

The series evolved over six months from a single image “The Running Man”  which inspired Lisa to explore how far she could expand the idea.  Lisa said she had established the style within the first four months and completed the series with photographs of buildings shot in Victoria and overseas including Singapore, Albany, New York, Bangkok, Canberra & Chicago.

All components of the images are photographs.  Some are the composition of two locations or buildings.  The Anonymous Man in each image brings human fragility to counter-balances the strength of the structures.

Buildings were photographed throughout Melbourne, Canberra and rural Victoria as well as Singapore, New York, Bangkok, & Chicago.

Around 60 friends, family and photographic colleagues attended the opening.  Long time friend, Leanne Cahill, opened the exhibition and provided an account of the professional, personal and spiritual journey Lisa had in making the series.

This one-night event will be repeated in July and August in Brighton & Doncaster respectively.
