Local Fitzroy institution The Napier Hotel quietly reopened recently, after being closed for a couple of months due to renovations. It was a much-anticipated date for us beer-swilling locals, who had been patiently, yet eagerly, awaiting their return.

The historical pub has (thankfully) not been totally revamped and lost its charm, but rather received a facelift with a fresh coat of paint, new carpets throughout and some well-overdue renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms.

The impressive new kitchen has a fresh outlook to the rear courtyard, which has also been repaved and had a couple of extra tables added ready for summer.

With all the changes, this local is certainly primed and ready to pump out all your pub grub favourites, whilst you enjoy a pint or two of the many delicious local tap beers on offer.
