Soko, Melbourne’s premium dining and takeaway destination for Nigiri Sushi fanciers, is expanding its food and service offerings.

Located on Victoria Street in Abbotsford, Soko are launching their own delivery app Soko Japanese to become the go-to for sushi and ramen in Melbourne available on both iOS and Android phones.

Owner David Chen has created the specific Soko delivery application for his wide and dedicated customer base. A personalised experience, the application allows you to search through your menu favourites and experience restaurant quality cuisine in the comfort of your own home.

Soko is known for its extensive sushi menu with David describing it as, “really simple, delicious and fresh sushi with no interference of sauces, seasoning and mayonnaise as opposed to the typical American/Californian style of sushi.”

Soko Head Chef, Sunny Tan is a Nigiri Sushi expert. With experience at Wasabi Bistro in the Mandarin Oriental Singapore and KL branches, Shoya Melbourne and Nobu, Sunny is a black belt with his sushi knife and demands impeccable quality and freshness, with each and every order, as all S?ko sushi is made fresh to order, piece by piece.

With a menu consisting of over 70 options, offerings include Nigiri Sushi and Roast Pork Belly Bento to Dengaku Tofu, Sashimi, Miso Soup and Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake; Soko offers a Japanese banquet of traditional delicacies for discerning patrons. Exotic seafood and sashimi offerings such as sea urchin, cod roe, herring roe, Hokkaido salmon caviar, clams and mackerel are rare regulars on the menu for those who dare to try something new.

“The delivery app also ensures that we are able to service diners, wherever they are, at home, offices and parties, etc. we deliver to almost 10km radius around two of our restaurant locations. Effectively, these suburbs are an extension of our restaurant seating capacity, we’ve almost made the entire Melbourne metro our restaurant,” says David.

Stay home, relax and Soko will do the rest…
