A little bit of town meets country in the hood, Red Door Corner Store is full of charm and deliciousness. All wood, flowers and quirky retro paraphernalia, Red Door has a loyal local following and it’s no wonder why.

You can sit out the front, or in the courtyard out the back, or you can sit inside and try and take in all there is to see.

The breakfast menu is extensive and in addition to the fairly substantial, healthy, and particularly gourmet sounding lunch dishes, there are pies, tarts and hearty sandwiches on offer. Not to mention the cake cabinet; divine.

All of the produce used at Red Door is organic, local and ethically produced. You can even take home a loaf of freshly baked bread and a jar of relish.

Coffee is by Market Lane Coffee and Dukes Coffee Roasters and they make it using all the fancy methods: espresso, filter, batch brew, pour over and aeropress.

Entering the red door at the front, was like entering a calm and restoring place, away from the madding crowd and life in the big city. You owe it to yourself to bathe in the goodness of Red Door Corner Store.
